Stay Off the Dunes

Everyone knew the number one rule at the beach: no sand on the blanket. But the second rule was: Stay Off the Dunes. Many times as kids we would sit up by the dunes and be tempted as our balls and toys got thrown into the grassy dunes, but were terrified by the fine of getting caught. This variegated skein has layers of deep green with heavy magenta speckles, just like the dune flowers that pop up throughout the summer. This color is shown on my sunfish base.
