About Us

As a psychologist by day, and Knitter by heart, my educational journey has taken me many places and brought me amazing memories and sights. Because yarn has been a huge love and great source of therapy for me, I wondered whether doing something therapeutic for myself may also bring a sense of joy to others. And thus, in my one-bedroom apartment in El Paso, TX, thelittlewolfknits was born. Since then, thelittlewolfknits has moved back across the country, but the yarn dyeing has not slowed down.

In my shop, you'll find yarn inspired by the places I've traveled and the things that I have loved along the way. Colorways are inspired by the beach and memories from my childhood memories of summers, fictional places that I have spent countless hours visiting, and my favorite foods.

In recent months, I have begun to pour candles to add a sense of cozy to our fiber-experiences, and have started publishing my own knitting patterns. However, please remember that this small business is run by one tiny woman who works a full-time and job, has an amazing partner, and does a happy dance every time you support the work that I do.  

In line with my values, my shop attempts to minimize waste when possible. This has led to no waste products (like my no waste sock blanks), and minimal packaging in your orders. This means no extra plastic or thank you cards, and I hope you're cool with that! In addition, I typically package multiple skeins of the same colorway and base with one tag, but if you prefer to have every skein tagged, just leave a note at checkout!
