Spritz Cookies
Spritz Cookies
Every Christmas season my mom, sister and I plan a night to do our cookie baking. Since I was a child my favorite cookies to make involved this big red and white cookie press that has different "tips" which allow you to press out different cookie shapes. The cookies were called Spritz cookies and I though we were the only family in the world who made them, until recently! This skein represents the joy I would get in dyeing the cookie dough into a color of choice (always red or green) and picking my favorite shape. Lightly speckled with teal and berry, this colorway perfectly captures Christmas in a subtle way, and would be perfect in socks, for an accessory or garment, and be a lovely transition color for any fade. This colorway pairs perfectly with Barbie girl. This color is shown on my sunfish base.
