Gingerbread House
Gingerbread House
Every year to this day my grandma (Nanny) buys my sister and I a gingerbread house to make. Usually, we end up waiting until the last minute possible (we're busy) before my sister starts to yell at me that we have to put it together. I'm terrible at building them and typically overly concerned about the structural aspect of the house, so my sister often ends up taking over and telling me which parts I'm allowed to decorate. But I don't mind, I love our tradition all the same. This skein was dyed up to represent those times together: variegated with tans and browns, and speckled with red, green, and aqua "candy." I hope this colorway brings you as much joy as decorating a real gingerbread house with family.
It would be the perfect accessory and could be a really fun Christmas sweater (without screaming green and red). Pairs well with Don't Forget the Rum for a two color Christmas FO!
